How to Start a Petition

Want to start a petition to save the earth? Here is how.

Step 1:

Know what you want your petition to be about. Petitions are about getting support with a certain topic. For example, if you want to stop the building of a coal powerplant, you can write a letter about banning it, including a petition with everyone's petitions. Note that the pictures below are of a random idea of a petition. They don't anything to do anything with the environment.

STEP 2:

Writing a convincing argument to get people to sign your petition.

STEP 3:

Get people to sign your petition. The people most likely to sign it is your friends and family. You can ask them to ask their friends to sign.

STEP 4:

Once you get enough signatures, send your petition along with your letter to whoever to intend to send it to.
